SRM Public School hosted the Mangaiyar Tharagai Awards 2026 at the T.P. Ganesan Auditorium, SRM University Campus, Kattankulathur, honouring six inspiring women for their outstanding contributions to society. The awardees included Dr. Sheela Unnikrishnan, Dr. Martha Grisilda Rengasami (Giri), Dr. Lakshmi Bharathi, Dr. Vijayalakshmi Arumainayagam, Mrs. Rehana Khan, and Ms. Thaaragai Arathana.
